I've only used the Basil shampoo bar a couple of times so far. I feel my hair is getting "squeaky clean". Not sure if I would be able to comb it out, so I've used a tiny bit of conditioner after rinsing out the shampoo. That's working out so far. Maybe I'll try it without conditioner and see how it goes. Great scent, tho, and my hair does look great, with more body!
Love all of Ava's products!
This moisturizing shampoo bar has become the new favorite of the whole family (teens and parents) Leaves hair clean, strong and healthy and has allowed us to reduce the number of weekly shampoos reducing breakage and waste. Sent a bar to my college student as well.
I have oily hair and this helps so much. Most other liquid products Ive used make my hair still greasy after I wash it .. smells amazing.
I am amazed at how well this works, how natural the ingredients are, and how happy I am not using plastic anymore. Win-win-win for me
I absolutely love the basil solid shampoo bars as well as the avocado shampoo bars. They produce quite a bit of lather and it leaves my normally oily hair feeling fresh and clean. I have thin hair and definitely notice a difference in volume after a month. Love Ava’s products! Love the samples!!! Thank you!!!

Handmade shampoo is great but be prepared for an adjustment period as your hair and scalp. kick the mass-produced shampoo habit. There will be a two week adjustment period as your scalp detoxes the chemicals left behind by store-bought liquid shampoos.
